A mini-pitbull terrier Dozer choked on a bone and was suffocated. Its quick-thinking owner and his girlfriend performed CPR on it upon seeing it in discomfort. The owner performed mouth-to-mouth resusitation, also known as the kiss of life on the dog while his girlfriend applied intervals of compressions to the heart to get the blood pumped to the other organs in the hope to revive the dog.
What this owner and his girlfriend had done was indeed extraordinary; something which most of us would probably dismiss as a silly idea. However, his actions brought his best friend back to life!
If you have a pet which you adored, would you have done the same when your pet is in danger?
In my opinion, I feel that this owner is a brave and selfless person who really treasures life, even that of a pet. He is someone who treats all life forms equally. He is worth our respect.
ReplyDeleteActually, I have done something similar to it. 4 Years ago, I have a hamster which I really loved and one day, I found that it drowned while I was bathing it. Seeing it lying motionless, my husband used a finger to apple compression around its chest area and it jumped back to life! We were indeed surprised and elated!

I would love it and did the same thing,but if anyone would hurt it i would protect it.I feel that that guy was a little discusting but brave.If anyone is reading this don't laugh k?And so if i only had a pet or whatever i woould save that pet/something/person.

I think that he is a very brave man because if I was him I think I will not do it because I feel it is a little discusting.
ReplyDeleteI guess that guy is kinda selfless like what u said but he could try doing some thing more like for dogs but I still wonder how the guy saved the doggie in such a werid way?

ReplyDeleteI think that the owner is brave and loves his pet very much.If I have a pet and something terrible happened to it,I will immediately did the same thing as the owner,because pets are living things just like us.Anyway,I don't feel it disgusting,because thats the way to save pets and human beings.

ReplyDeleteI think that the man and his girlfriend had done a good deed even if they were just saving an animal. If I have a pet that is sick and is dying, I will be worried and I will do all I can to save my pet.
ReplyDeletePersonally I am someone who loves to own a pet very much, especially cute puppies. If this incident were to happen to my pet, I would have done my very best to save it as well. I applaud the man for quick thinking and bravery in saving his dog in time.
ReplyDeleteMy godma has a dog named "Junior" which passed away sometime back. She cried a lot and I felt sad too whenever I visited her and could not see Junior anymore. I wish we could have saved Junior as well but "he" has a terminal disease which is uncurable. Too bad......
I told my mother the story and I did tell her that it was a little disgusting.She told me to put myself into the owner's and dog's shoe and when I did,I really felt that if I was the dog,I would really be grateful to the owner for saving my life.After that I thought that if I was the man I would have done the same thing because I would not bear to see my dog dying on the grass patch just like that!
ReplyDeleteWell... In my thoughts, I will say its a little disgusting but it was a right decision to do CPR and mouth to mouth with the dog. If i have a dog which i really like, I would have done the same thing that the owner and the girlfriend did =D I would not bear to see my dog like that lying on the floor dead...

ReplyDeleteI THINK THE OWNER IS VERY COURAGEOUS. I THINK LOVE HIS PET DEARLY. HE ALSO DESERVES IT. IF I ALSO HAVE A PET DOG LIKE HIS,I WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF IT. I WILL PLAY WITH IT AND FEED IT. I WILL ALSO BRING HIM FOR A WALK FREQUENTLY.

i read the story already. i felt that the owner is very helpful. I think he had done a very good deed.

ReplyDeleteOohs!.. The man and his girlfriend were very brave and acted smart but it was a silly action. I feel that they was not applied a correct method to save the dog. Because we should bring the dog to the vet for help immediately. Or else the dog would die due to their wrong action.

ReplyDeleteI would also perform CPR because it is matter between choosing life or death. Doing CPR is better than not doing anything at all.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first read the article, I felt a little digusted and uncomfortable. But when I gave a futher thought about it, I think I would have done the same to my pet dog, Xi Er, if it is in danger. Life is precious, irregardless to whether it is an animal or a human!
