I saw an alarming number of girls not handing in their homework today. I was rather shocked and truthfully, a little disappointed. Of course, I spent some time giving them 'a piece of my mind' and hopefully, they'll correct their work attitude as soon as possible!

7:30-9:30am CNY MASS at the track

9:30-10:30am Ice-cream treat cum long recess

Attire

Pupils are to come in festive clothings or any ethnic costumes of any race that brings out the festive mood. Jeans are allowed if the festive clothing is only a top. Only School shoes are allowed. School rules still applies when it comes to hair accessories etc.

Please remember to bring along your PE attire as there will be PE lessons after recess.

Please remember to bring 2 mandarin oranges for blessing at the CNY MASS.

    Recap for week 2:

    We have learnt about the simple present tense, simple past tense and their usage. Please remember to revise Preston pg 22-24 to commit these words into memory. Today, we have learnt how to make use of a concept map to organise our ideas prior to writing a composition. You can also make use of similar concept maps to revise your Science too!

    Please note:

    Dictation for next week will be moved forward to Thursday as Friday is scheduled for Chinese New Year Mass. Also, your journals are due on that day too! Remember to place your working thermometers in your bags on Sunday night!

9th Jan Friday

Dear girls, you have no homework for this weekend. You have all worked hard for the entire week and its time for a good rest. Enjoy yourself over the weekend and recharge for week 2!

If you can spare some time, take a look at the simple past tense and simple present tense table found in your Preston pg 22-24. We'll play a game on tenses when you come back on Monday.

It'll be Mandarin week next week. Please remember to bring along a chinese storybook when you go to the track for Family Time.
