The Kiss of Life
The Straits Times-Little Red Dot pg 8. (24/3/09)

A mini-pitbull terrier Dozer choked on a bone and was suffocated. Its quick-thinking owner and his girlfriend performed CPR on it upon seeing it in discomfort. The owner performed mouth-to-mouth resusitation, also known as the kiss of life on the dog while his girlfriend applied intervals of compressions to the heart to get the blood pumped to the other organs in the hope to revive the dog.

What this owner and his girlfriend had done was indeed extraordinary; something which most of us would probably dismiss as a silly idea. However, his actions brought his best friend back to life!

If you have a pet which you adored, would you have done the same when your pet is in danger?

13th March Friday

Dear girls and parent, today marks the final day of Term 1. The past 10 weeks had been an intensive learning expedition for all of us as we adjust to each other's style. I have learnt many different ways to handle a class of varied abilities. I have also came to understand the girls better in terms of what makes them tick and how to maximise their potentials academically and morally. I have many teachers feeding back to me with very positive comments about my girls' behaviour and attitude and I am really proud. Keep it up! Let's recharge for the next 5 days of holiday we have and I'll see you on Thursday 19th March!

Oh yes, parents, please allow your daughters to bring along a small pocket dictionary to be placed in class for daily use. Thanks!

At the moment, we are still in the process of going through the answers so we will need the girls to have the scripts readily in their bags everyday. Thanks.

Hooray! Exams are over!!

Finally, the students and parents can take a break from the hectic revision schedule and leave the stress for the teachers to mark and collate the results. From the results processing time line, the students will receive most of their papers tomorrow for checking and going through of answers. The papers which they have sat for makes up a certain percentage of their total score, which means there are other components taken from daily assessment.
